I yelled at my trainer today. I apologise, Ashleigh, the Canadian iFit trainer who cycles in Norway. I did not want to do another interval, “dig deep”, or heed your favorite phrase: “Push, push, push! Just twenty more seconds!”
I felt like I was delivering a baby and cycling at the same time. This was Day 8. 🚴♀️👶
After yesterday’s almost hour long workout, I picked a shorter, 28 minute training with my usual three minute warm up to bring me over my 30 minute minimum. I picked another interval training because I liked yesterday’s. This was a mistake for two reasons (and perhaps more, if we’re honest):
1.) I ran out of fuel fairly quickly. I think I’m still recovering from yesterday. 2.) These intervals were one minute long and the trainer was cranking up the resistance on my bike up to 9 out of 10 at times. I did not do this workout very well, but I muddled my way through it. 🏆 A for effort.
I’ll be back tomorrow with a recovery workout to help my body recuperate. Until then, Arcians–don’t yell at your trainers. Sorry, Ashleigh; I’ll beat you next time. 🌷 😉
