Christianity: My Journey & Thoughts, Exercise Challenges

Author: Finishing the Japan Series, New Bike & New Season 🚴‍♀️🇯🇵💼

Today, I finished the 12 part Japan series. My last ride ended at a shrine near the old Imperial Palace in Kyoto. My legs are deliciously sore and I’m so proud that I finished this. It made me think of the following Bible verse:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.” -St. Paul

When I looked up this quote so I could include it correctly, I read that Paul said this before he was martyred. That is really powerful.

Today I brought two bags full of stuff home from my work. I’m slowly cleaning out my office so I can begin my new adventure here in a few weeks. It’s been a very tiring week, but I am an incredibly stubborn (persistent) person. We keep on keeping on.

I’m looking forward to this next season in the saint’s and my life. I know that God is with me, just as He was with Paul. There’s a lot going on in the world right now with the coronavirus, Brexit, the hot air blowing in from D.C. and everything else journalists love to try to shred us apart with. I don’t have any answers, but I keep my eyes on the cross. He is with us, and I am with Him.

Enjoy some pictures of Japan. I just ordered a new bike for my continued cycling workouts. It comes with three years of iFit so expect more adventuring! Click that follow button if you’d like to join the ride.

Ker kaws all around and happy writing! 🦉

      1. Very cool. 😊 I think that was a lucky guess. I realized after I sent that that sometime I know through work mentioned to me randomly he had lived in Japan once upon a time for awhile. I forgot how it came up.
