Open Calls: Ontology Books “A Darkness Visible” [Anthology Call]

The Horror Writer’s Association (HWA) passed on the below opportunity to its members and I wanted to pass it along to my followers. Ontology Books is seeking submissions for its upcoming anthology A Darkness Visible focused on postmodern horror. The deadline isn’t until October 31, 2022 so you have plenty of time to put something spooky together.

Please see https://www.ontologybooks.com/submissions for more information and best of luck with your submissions.*

*Please note, I am not affiliated with Ontology Books in any way. Please refer to their website for submission instructions and for guidance if you have questions.

HWA: “Of Horror and Hope” Mental Health Initiative Anthology (& My Poem)

My poem, “Patiently Awaiting the Door”, was recently accepted for the Horror Writer’s Association (HWA) “Of Horror and Hope” Anthology for their Mental Health Initiative. My poem was featured in a June 3rd blog article as part of their thirty days of promotion on the HWA website and can be found here.

I wanted to thank HWA for hosting this event and promoting such an important topic. If you’d like to read the full anthology (for free), the direct link can be found here.

Thank you and happy writing everyone.
