Blogmas Day 10: Cycling & Ghostbusters πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸ‘»

Thirty minutes more to me…Hear that fitness bank jingle. When I started bicycling back in October, thirty minutes seemed to last forever. Now it goes by fairly quickly and I enjoy it more and more. If you’re trying a new fitness journey, hang in there. It does get better. Remember, sweat is fat crying.

Poor fat. Somebody get it a tissue. 🀧

Blogmas Day 9: Sock it to Me πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸ§¦

Thirty more minutes goes into the cycling bank. I cycled once again with my favorite iFit trainer, Regan Pearce. I’ve adopted his native New Zealander saying he often says during our workouts: Kia kaha! It means stay strong. Blogmas Day 8: “The Boxer” & A Funny Introvert Shirt πŸ₯ŠπŸš€

Today is my rest day from cycling. I’ll be cleaning the peregrine nest top to bottom, reading and writing more of my current novel in the works.

I went to a show last night and one of the songs performed was “The Boxer”,Β  originally sung and performed by Simon and Garfunkel. I don’t think I ever properly listened to the lyrics before that night. I recognized the song immediately and looked it up when I got home. It’s full of pain, ugliness, beauty and resilience. I may listen to it on repeat when I write today. It really touches something in the human experience.

Also, take a look at my funny sweater I bought. I’ve been coming across a lot of NASA clothing at a store I frequent and I’ve been scooping them up eagerly. πŸ€“πŸ‘

Enjoy and see you tomorrow for Day 9. Lie la lie, lie la la la lie lie.
