Thirty more minutes goes into the cycling bank. I cycled once again with my favorite iFit trainer, Regan Pearce. I’ve adopted his native New Zealander saying he often says during our workouts: Kia kaha! It means stay strong. I want a fairy godmother (godfather?) version of him following me around in life, motivating me while slipping me vegan snacks. I’m sure he doesn’t have anything better to do, am I right? 😉

Blogmas Day 8: “The Boxer” & A Funny Introvert Shirt 🥊🚀
Today is my rest day from cycling. I’ll be cleaning the peregrine nest top to bottom, reading and writing more of my current novel in the works.
I went to a show last night and one of the songs performed was “The Boxer”, originally sung and performed by Simon and Garfunkel. I don’t think I ever properly listened to the lyrics before that night. I recognized the song immediately and looked it up when I got home. It’s full of pain, ugliness, beauty and resilience. Also, take a look at my funny sweater I bought. I’ve been coming across a lot of NASA clothing at a store I frequent and I’ve been scooping them up eagerly. 🤓👍

Enjoy and see you tomorrow for Day 9. Lie la lie, lie la la la lie lie.
