“This is Reginald Swinebottom presents. Welcome to Day 15 of Blogmas 2018. Grab your mittens and let’s get crackin’!”
Mr. Swinebottom waddles on stage, dressed like one of the three wise men. He appears to be in the middle of preparing for a Christmas play. He’s holding a stage prop painted to look like a container of myrhh. Instead of myrhh, however, there’s apparently cookies tucked away inside. He’s snacking on a few here and there and waving at people in the audience.
“Good evening! Tonight we’re sharing three of the author’s favorite Bible verses. It is Christmas after all, the holiday where we celebrate the Son of God’s birth. Happy birthday!
*Have your own favorite Bible verse? Leave them below! Agnostic or atheist? We’re still glad you’re here. If you want to know more about Jesus and Christianity, click here. If not, we hope to see you tomorrow for Day 16 of Blogmas! Have a cookie–it’s on me.”
