Exercise Challenges

We made it to two weeks. That’s fourteen straight days of at least 30 minutes of biking, with some recuperating days of lower intensity workouts in-between. High fives to all.

Today I went back to Chile in a small town known for surfing.ย  We did intervals on a trail through some woods five times. I discovered my trainer does 8-11+ hour races that he trains for regularly. I am humbled, indeed.

Exercise Challenges

New Zealand. One day I will visit. I’ll need be to be extradited though; I have a feeling I’ll never want to leave.ย It’s so beautiful! I hope it stays wild and free forever. ๐Ÿž๏ธ

Day 13 went very well. My quads continue to strengthen, my endurance is increasing. I’m continuing the challenge. See you tomorrow for our two week marker–Day 14! ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‚

Exercise Challenges

We are nearing the halfway mark…which in this case would be 15.5 days, wouldn’t it?

Today we traveled to… Utah, again. I did about four hours or so of yard work today and needed an easier ride. My quads have been sore lately so I spun to get the lactic acid out (or so say my trainers) and recuperate a bit more. It was thirty minutes with a three minute warm up and a four minute cool down.

I saw plateaus, little bushes, little trees and a lot of rock. The ground reminded me of dry clay that someone scraped against with a giant scraper. The desert is a different place to be sure.
