Author: October Cycling Challenge– Barcelona, Spain (Day 21/31)🇪🇸🚴‍♀️

Today marks three weeks! Hip, hip–hooray! And today’s spot was Barcelona, specifically along the Les Ferreres Aqueduct trail. We did 3:1 intervals around five times (I lost track). This means three minutes of fast pedaling, one minute rest. I worked up quite a sweat. 💦

With a three minute warm up and a four minute cool down, I got my thirty minutes. I hit the showers like the sweaty champ I am and will be eating veggie fajitas with my mermaid fin blanket like a true little athlete. 😉🧜

Today was the Utah trainer again. She calls her fellow riders “warriors” and  uses phrases like “sweat confetti.” She also encourages us to appreciate the nature around us and to let go of the day’s stresses. I like her; she could be my fairy godmother life coach flying by on her bike.🧚‍♀️

Exercise Challenges, Tea Chat

Author: October Cycling Challenge– Encouraging Utah (Day 16/31)🚴‍♀️

This is the third time I believe I’ve done this workout. The trainer is very encouraging and passionate and inspires you to dig deep and keep pedaling–both in the moment and for the future. We need more people like her, handing out vegan candy and giving thumbs up freely.  🍬
