Exercise Challenges

Author: October Cycling Challenge– Colorado River (Day 17/31)🚴‍♀️🌊

Today was the Utah trainer again. She calls her fellow riders “warriors” and  uses phrases like “sweat confetti.” She also encourages us to appreciate the nature around us and to let go of the day’s stresses. I like her; she could be my fairy godmother life coach flying by on her bike.🧚‍♀️

I realized recently I should probably follow the training courses; each trainer does a set series within a country or area. I tend to skip across the globe like Santa’s lost reindeer instead. 🦌

Today was a recuperation ride, for the most part. At the end we did a set of six intervals. It went pretty well, but I think I may need to start doing more difficult rides. My endurance is building up so I can try doing longer rides now.
